Oh my God I am beyond psyched for FF to begin...this is turning into a major obsession with me>I joined the first draft held in Yahoo Public, but don't know if I made exactly the right moves. In fact I may have may a terribly boneheaded move trading Reggie Bush & Todd Heap for Antonio Gates and Josh Scobee. As a crazy SD fan I had to have Gates at all costs-but perhaps the cost was too high. I need to get crap like this out of my system before The Watcher's league begins-still my team is not too bad-I'm taking some chances on the injury prone and youth, but I rate my team 4th or 5th in the league right now-any suggestions on how I can improve would be most welcome Utter Destruction:QBs Carson Palmer, Alex Smith WRs Javon Walker, Darrell Jackson, D. J. Hackett, Mike Furrey, Bruce Berrian RBs Rudi Johnson, Duece McCallister, Kevin Jones, Jeurious Norwood TE Antonio Gates K Neil Rackers, Josh Scobbee D Philly I'm drafting for NMSandgorgons (my public team that won 1st place last year) in 40 minutes---and that will be it until The Watchers start. I [glow=red,2,300]MUST[/glow] win the Watch at ALL costs this year!!!! I know it's way too early to have a realistic draft, but heh, it keeps me off the streets!

I must confess I'm really looking forward this year as well. I've been playing the last 6 years and have had some pretty good seasons (though not many lately). You can expect THUNDERCRUNCH to participate in the Watch league this year.
Your UD lineup is pretty decent, danlo, especially your D, QB and TE. RBs and WRs are not bad either. Like always it comes down to real player injuries and of course if they are just having a crap year or not. That's all part of the fun. :-)

OMG a Raider AD! <pukes and dies> just found out I'm 4th in this upcoming draft and have my eyes on Frank Gore--the 3rd and 4th round should be pretty good to me too--never made it above the 6th pick before...
I'm really worried about RB, left deep hole there by trading Bush and Jones is not only injury-prone but will share time with Tatum Bell this year.

4-6 on the season so far. Not what I expected this year but you never know how things turn out. Injuries, poor performances etc. And of course the funny shape of the ball and they way it bounces. :-)

Amazing. I managed to climb back up to 7-6. If I win this week I'm in the playoffs. If I lose I suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, how exactly is danlo going to win it all this year? According to my sources, he's already been eliminated from the playoffs!

I know this is from last year but I havent really have had much success in the Watchers league this year seeing as its my novice year and at 2-10 there wont be any playoffs for me. A few bad decisions recently on team selection lead to the last few defeats with nearly more points on my bench than on my main team.

I'm sorry. It doesn't look to good for you this year cleburne. But there's always next year. You never know how these things work out. Many times you start the fantasy season thinking you've assembled the best team possible only to have poor play or multiple injuries ruin your season. But sometimes it works out just the way you planned and those are the experiences that keep us coming back for more.

I would say I had a poor first season at Fantasy Football but Im still a novice I hope to think Ive learn more about the game and the players during the season and maybe next year I might improve ;D At least I havent been put off and still 2 games to go in the playoffs even after last week horrible score of 34. But I definetly be back for more next year

Here's a safe place to pregnant dog. I tried to pick up Willis McGee off waivers, yet he went to Brinn, who should have been after me on the waiver order due to records. Clearly I'm not understanding something here, and it cost mt 30 points. Of course, I'm not the schlep who cut McGee; that dude must be kicking himself in the ass right now.

I'm off to the worst start I've had with the Watchers ESPN FF league. Thankfully I had joined a Yahoo league and I'm undefeated and in first place after knocking of the only other undefeated team last week so I haven't been all that focused on my Watchers trades and transactions like I would normally. :-)

I may not participate in the Watcher's Fantasy Football this year. I certainly will play FF but I'll probably do it anonymously on a free Yahoo FF league. I tend to decide these thing in late August but happen to be thinking about it now.
