Oh, sorry to disappoint you, I'm an atheist, not a heathen. But I miss being able to blaspheme, and, so as not to leave anybody out, I make sure that my references to supposed divine beings are always in the plural. --A HeathenHeathen is from Old English hæðen "not Christian or Jewish", (c.f. Old Norse heiðinn). Common word usageBoth "pagan" and "heathen" have historically been used as a pejorative by adherents of monotheistic religions (such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam) to indicate a disbeliever in their religion. "Paganism" is also sometimes used to mean the lack of (an accepted monotheistic) religion, and therefore sometimes means essentially the same as atheism.

Paganism is also sometimes used to mean the lack of (an accepted monotheistic) religion, and therefore sometimes means essentially the same as atheism. Never a usage that I've used or agree with really. Heathenism/paganism as far as I'm concerned mean that a person adheres to a religion / gods other than the accepted monotheisms. But they still believe in something. That some force divine or otherwise is manifest/whatever in the world. Atheism recognises no "supernatural" force at all. --A

How do I know you're an idiot? You can't even do your quotes correctly. You know how I know you are a geek? Exhibit A: [ /quote] I'm here more than you realize; I just spend most of my time editing/updating my comic list. It's still only about 75% done, too.

I did notice there was an issue with cadzombie's quotes but declined to point it out. What does that say about me exactly? :-)

You know how I know you are an Uber geek? When you can't think of any better retort than the following: How do I know you're an idiot? You can't even do your quotes correctly.

And, just because it bothers you,...I'll be leaving out end quote code deliberately from here on.
