I'm wondering if Lord Hyrim and the bloodguard had managed to beat Kinslaughterer to Coercri, would they have had success convincing any of the Giants to resist or perhaps defeat the Giant-Raver before he could destroy his people?

I want to be an optimist and think they would have had a chance of success. It's possible that upon seeing a Lord and a group of Bloodguard, the Giants would have remembered hope. Not likely, but Hyrim sure wouldn't have given up trying to shake the Giants out of their stupor.

I believe the mission to Seareach just might have made a difference if they had arrived earlier. Not saying I'd rewrite the book but if those were the circumstances disaster might have been averted or at least postponed.

Don't have the book on me, but I seem to remember Mhoram saying that getting to Seareach as soon as possible was the top priority, not worrying about the size of the force needed.
So he would have agreed with you.
Of course, the tragedy was that Hyrim's mission did arrive too late.
