"The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force." We've heard that every time we've watched A New Hope. Its it true or not? It might be argued that it was Luke's ability with the force that enabled him to destory the Deathstar. It certainly looked that way. But what if there had been no fatal flaw in the design of the space station? How would the Force have been used to stop it? How much of the rebelion would have been wiped out on Yavin's moon and would they have stood a chance at all without Luke's timely proton torpedo shot?
