Haha, I used to work for an arcade game company in london...it's not for nothing that the M25 is known as the worlds largest parking lot. LOL
Hows that congestion tax working out?

But schools are back next week and that will mess up the roads again As for the congestion charge they have increased the size of the zone it covers and the price from 5 pounds to 8 pound a day. Loads of money for the mayor of London to help pay for London 2012.

Yeah, but is it cutting down on city traffic? I'll never forget the day I sat for 3 hours in a traffic jam only 500m from the office. --A

Do i like driving my car this week my vehicles are a bit sick my van broke down on the way to work the exhaust fell off so I turn back to home and such a racket it made I didnt have enough money to fix it as I spent a great deal on a rent deposit so I left ita few days till I had money again and low and behold the battery went flat so its been picked up today by the garage but its full to the ceiling with my sofa and other stuff from the house move . Then I had to transport everything with my car 10 trips instead of 3 with the van and then I passed out a a dump truck on the motorway and he sent stones flying from his wheels on to my windsreen and cracked it in two places

Guess!! I have everyone drive my car for me whenever possible. If I had a job I might like it again.

And I would want a green car, the day that I finally drive. Green as in totally environment-friendly. A "mere" hybrid would not cut it for me. I want my future car/motorcycle/flying thingie to be completely non-polluting, or I won't have one at all. I'll just ride the bus the rest of my life, which is already what I've been doing.

I'd be fine driving a Hydrogen vehicle or 100% electric car (the Chevy Volt is supposed to be available in a year or so). Technology would have to make great advances in alternative energy fuel cells and solar panels to make a solar car feasible, same thing goes for wind or even "Flinstones" style foot powered car. We're going to be polluting for a while longer while we get from point A to point B. When I was a kid I really thought transportation would be very different than it is today. That's what I get for reading and watching so much sci fi.

I prefer driving my car to pushing my car.

I don't mind driving now that I've moved to a small town also...every place I have to go to is within a 6 or 7 mile radius...unless of course I drive to the BIG CITY to see the kids.

Yeah, my car needs some repairs too, but since I've got a few others available to me where I am right now, I'm being reallazy getting it organised. I'd rather drive my late uncles mercedes C320 than get my own car fixed. *sigh* Really have to do something about it.
Just lazy.

My saga continues are you familar with the A1M on the way to london Avatar near the m25 junction well my beloved van went from 60 mile an hour to zero in a few seconds and I nearlly had a few cars up my rear end. Managed to drag it to a garage and the boy say you need 4 new injectors so low and behold more money spent on the yolk £480. Hopefully it wont need any more work done on it for a while. The smart garage guy said"You really need to spend some money on the old girl"
