Sure we can make jokes about what "Googled" could mean but I'm referring to the act of typing in your name in the Google search engine and checking out the hits.
I'm not ashamed to say I've done that very thing many times. It's not that I'm in so in love with myself that I need to see if anyone else in the world feels the same way, in my case it's because I've published fiction and have a band/music that has multiple mp3s available for download. I'm understandably curious as to how any of my creative projects are fairing.
I'm sure there are other good reasons for Googling yourself though. ;D
