Okay. I'm sitting down to watch a new episode of Clone Wars on Cartoon Network and before I'm even a few minutes into the story a Sepratist strong man appears voiced by...George Takei!
WTF?
Shouldn't the universe collapse on itself? Star Wars and Star Trek cannot come into contact with one another, like matter and anti-matter.
It would be like James Earl Jones voicing a Borg king, sounding very much like...you know who.
That the framework of space/time hasn't been ripped apart is just pure luck on our part.
;D

I know Clone Wars has gotten positive feedback from folks at KW, but the show just never interested me. But if you wanna talk SW/ST crossovers, I wouldn't mind if J.J. Abrams directed a future Star Wars movie, since he did such a superlative job on the Trek re-boot. But I doubt Emperor Lucas would let any rogue Jedi touch his Empire now.

I don't expect a new Star Wars film to be helmed by anyone but GL until after his passing which means it could be quite some time.
