Thanks to Netflix I'm able to catch up on movies and tv I've missed out on or haven't watched in quite a while. Currently or recently I've been watching:
Futurama: the entire series to this point. SCRUBS: all nine seasons - currently on season 3 The Office: watched every episode to current The Incredible Hulk: 1978 - watched pilot and a few others Farscape: Up to season 2 but losing interest fast Lexx: couldn't stand to watch more than the first couple of episodes Dogfights: all of season one. Battlestar Galactica: SyFy - Entire series.
Always keeping an eye out for other shows that are added weekly.

Now that you have BSG under your belt, I have to ask how you feel about how they ended it and your thoughts on them trying to continue it in some form as so many of the fan sites are begging for.

I have been seriously contemplating Netflix for a while now and am convinced I should get it, only question is how I will feed it to my TV. Been looking at the stand alone wireless streaming units as well as the various blue ray and DVD players that are wireless and have the streaming capability.
Thoughts? Comments? Rants? Recommendations?

Well CZ,
Being able to stream the entire BSG and more recently SGU via Netflix was fantastic. The wife and I were really able to attack each show whenever we wanted and definitely got a more linear experience that viewers of the show week by week couldn't enjoy. The end of BSG was a bit jarring and somewhat of a letdown. Being a fan of the original show I expected that finding and interacting with the 13th colony was a given but then we find out that's not the case at all. I'd go into more detail but I don't want to throw out spoilers in case Dan or someone else reads this. Rarely do long running series end with an amazing moment. No one can top the last moment of Newhart. Of course you would have had to have watched the Bob Newhart Show from the 70s to get the gag.
Right now the wife and I are on a tear to catch up with Fringe. Its not available on Netflix so we've had to buy seasons. We've watched all we can watch to this point finishing season 3 yesterday. Season 4 goes on sale today and we'll have to get it watched before the first episode of season 5 begins sometime soon.
I have netflix streaming from all of my computers, my XBOX360 via Xbox Live and through 2 bluray players. The Bluray are the most reliable, the XBOX is the fastest and the computer presents a much easier selections/search menu so they all have advantages. I have no experience with a stand alone streaming device. If you can afford $75 for a bluray that's the way I'd go. The computer streaming comes automatically with the services so you'd get that not matter what way you'd go.

Thanks for the advice. I did watch the bob newhart show in the 70's actually but never seen the finale. I'll have to look in to that soon. The end of BSG was anti-climactic for me and sad with the whole adama sequence and the starbuck sequence. They could have wrung quite a few more epic seasons out of that show but oh well.
As for fringe, love it, it can drag a bit at times but overall very good.

Now that you mention it I may just do some of the series's over again just to experience the "Linear" feel that you speak of. I have never been able to do that with any TV series so Netflix should be worth the monthly fee just for that.

At present I keep going back to Futurama, Family Guy, Star Trek Original Series and Bob's Burgers. Nice to have all that handy anytime I need it without having to jam a dozen bluray's in the player.

My latest binge watch was "Ash vs. Evil Dead" and I must say that while it dragged a bit, I liked it and how they wrapped it up. I was excited to watch it air a while back but was disappointed to find that it was going to be on a channel you had to pay extra for on cable so I had to pass at the time.
I've been a bit of a closet fan of the franchise since the original movie and I recommend this last "episodic" made for TV wrap up of the story.

Was and will always be a massive fan of Army of Darkness. I guess I'm pre programmed to like anything with ASH.

Just finished watching the first installment of a Netflix original by the name of "Altered Carbon" and I must say that I really dig it. Cool premise that hasn't been touched in Sci-Fi movies or TV (as far as I am aware) in quite this way. I highly recommend it.

Watched all of Altered Carbon and found it interesting and entertaining. After that I moved on to The Frankenstein Chronicles starring Sean Bean which I enjoyed even more.
