Super hero comic books are replete with great characters. Some of the most interesting are the villains. There are the stereotypical villains that crave global domination and others that are just street level punks.
My all time favorite is DOCTOR DOOM.
Doc Doom is a jerk like all Comic Book Villains but he's a sophisticated, regal jerk. Maybe its because he wears a suit of armor bristling with hidden weapons. Maybe he's the Fantastic Four's arch nemesis. Not really sure but it works for me and always has. ;D
For obvious reasons. :-)

I prefer Magneto as he's more likely to stick to my refrigerator. Or, if I'm taking this seriously, Catwoman, as she sometimes isn't a bad guy at all. Of course, that applies to Magneto, too, which is the real reason I like him.

The Villain that isn't or hasn't always been a villain is an interesting topic idea. There are so many.

Sandman, Medusa, Wonder Man, Swordsman, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Hawkeye, Moondragon, Luke Cage, Mockingbird, Namor....geez, that's just the bad guys who joined the Avengers!

Megamind comes to mind...no pun intended.
Of course there have been plenty of villains that have for one reason or another turned temporarily to the good side but just couldn't help but eventually turn back to EVIL.
