Is worth it. The huge cast can make it a bit confusing. It was only nearer the end that I really got going with GotM. Then had to wait ages until I could read Deadhouse Gates.

"You've been warned" by James Patterson...the person that gave it to me read it in one day. ( 386 pages ) It takes me forever to read a book cause I just don't make time for it even though I love reading, but I'm half way through in a very short time.

I haven't read any James Patterson so if the book is good I have something to look forward to. In the mean time I'm reading the posts on this message board. Very entertaining. :-)

Havent been reading enough books lately so went to book shop to see what they had.SRD Gap series was on display(newly re- published I believe) plus S.Erikson.Both of which I havent read as yet but the first book in both series werent on the shelves. Having great trouble finding them and I wont start from the second book. So I settled for George R.R Martin A Game of Thrones instead.

I generally don't have all that much time to read but I devoured the "Song of Ice and Fire" series in record time...for me that is. I eagerly await the next book which seems to be taking forever to be written.

Gardens of the Moon eh? That book is the bane of my existance. I have a paperback copy that I try to bring along with me wherever I go. I can't seem to break through to the middle of the story. I've been reading a few pages here and there for what seems like forever. I'll finish it one day I tell you. One day!

Just finished the "Nellie Mae Fisher" series of books by Beverly Lewis. The books are about Amish and Mennonite families. We live right by a Mennonite community, so these books interested me when I heard about them.

I've been interested in reading more about the history of the Tampa area. "sweetpea" has a book that she has been reading that deals with Florida during its early years in the 1800s. I plan to read that at some point.

Speaking of books that seem to take forever to get through, I started Fellowship of the Ring over a year ago but had a hard time getting into it, because I honestly found the opening chapters pretty unexciting. If it had been any other book by any other author, I would not have bothered with it again. But because it's Tolkien and because it's LOTR, I feel I have to read it, just so I can say that, yes, I've read the Granddaddy of all epic fantasy books. So I've gotten back into Fellowship, and I'm actually enjoying it now, as the story has at last picked up speed.

Its been a long time since I read the book initially ,it was the spring of 1991 and one of my fellow college mates gave me the Fellowship to read he said Id love it and I took to the book quite quickly ,i do believe if my memory serves me correctly I had finished the trilogy within 2 months mind you my studies did suffer a bit ;D Unfortunately I read The Hobbit after reading the trilogy.

Well, cleburne, now that I'm really into it, I might possibly finish the trilogy in a couple of months myself! Lucky for me I don't have things like school to interfere with my lazy reading.
